Description

I made this Space Invaders desktop background wallpaper for a triple monitor 5760 x 1080 HDTV screen setup.

I've extended the alien invaders and shields across the full width of the screens, as if you're playing a giant widescreen version of the Taito Space Invaders arcade game. (I've used the later colour version of the video game since it's a little more interesting to look at than the original white and green.)

I just saw that LeandroJVarini made the same wallpaper but with the two-colour version of the game and a nice retro scan-line effect:
